At inception in October 1996, the School consisted of four registered pupils in the Nursery and one in Day care. Owing to the performance of these children parents encouraged the School to extend into the Primary Section which it did in September 1997. We give credence to Montessori methods whereby topics are taught in practical ways making learning easier, more interesting and faster for the children, and we strike a balance with British standards in Etiquette and Nigerian Educational System/Curriculum
Olivefields has since then earned herself a position as one of the best Private Schools in Lagos.
